Obituary of Mike Piliarik

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Michael John Piliarik on July 13, 2019 at the age of 56. Loving husband of Paula Piliarik and father of three, Jessica Creaner (Sean), Jennifer Lee and Jo-Anne Moon. Mike was the youngest brother of Matthew (Julia) and Peter (Ann) and dear “Grampy” to many.

Mike was born in Sarnia, Ontario on August 12, 1962. He worked for Bruce Power as a First Nuclear Operator for 30 years and was loved by and a mentor to his co-workers. Mike had a passion for golf and the Detroit Red Wings. He was known for his quiet confidence, compassionate spirit and playful humor.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at the Wingham Legion on Saturday, September 7th from 1:00-4:00 p.m. The family gratefully declines flowers.
