Obituary of Davey Edgar

At Victoria Hospital, London on Saturday, July 06, 2019, Davey Edgar of Gorrie, at the age of 76.

Beloved husband of Sandra (née MacDonald) Edgar. Loving father and father-in-law of the late Jason Edgar (2003) and Tracey & Geoff Edgar-Stubgen. Special grandpa of Zack, Carson, Mia and Grace. Dear brother of Bonnie & Gordon Hislop, Catherine Edgar, Louise Edgar. Brother-in-law of Hugh & Bonnie MacDonald, Don & Claire MacDonald, Raymond & Susan MacDonald, Carol & Cam Edgar, Bob Daigle, Greg MacDonald, Luanne & Bill Kerr, Stewart MacDonald, Allen MacDonald, Cindy & Paul Skinn and Sally & Harold Martin. Davey will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Ken & Margaret Edgar, parents-in-law Alex & Betty MacDonald, sisters-in-law Bonnie Daigle and Christine Small, niece Tara MacDonald and great-niece Elle Milton.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Wingham at 1:00 p.m. Final resting place, Wroxeter Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or the London Health Sciences Centre Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
