Obituary of Kathleen Isobel Forgie

At Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, Kae Forgie of Wingham age 97 years.The former Kae Wilcox, beloved wife of the late Fraser Forgie who predeceased her in 2007. Dear aunt of Robert Mitchell of Chelsea, Anne Mitchell of Hamilton, Irene Mitchell of Thunder Bay. Lovingly remembered by Mae and John Moffat of Tillsonburg and Irene and Ev Bridge of Palmerston. Also survived by several great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Louise (Young) Wilcox, her sisters Olive Maude Mitchell and Louise Kirchen and by nieces Janet Louise Kirchen and Ruth Anne Mitchell. Kae was a graduate of Secretarial Studies from Western High School of Commerce in Toronto. She worked at Canadian United Allied Relief Fund in Ottawa, The United Nations Relief Agency in New York and Time International Magazine of Canada. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Wingham Golf and Curling Club on Saturday, August 9th from 1:00-4:00 pm. Memorial donations to Blyth Festival would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
