Obituary of Donald J. Weber

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Wingham & District Hospital, Don Weber of R.R. #2, Lucknow and formerly of Walkerton at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of Wanda (Henry) Weber. Loving father of Brian & Bonnie Weber and Sandra & Glen Wendt. Dear “Grandpa Jake” of Jennifer & Fred Grein and their sons Damon & Alex, Jill & Gerald Machan and their sons Reid & Luke, Evan & Hayley Wendt and their children Abbie, Simon and James and Erin & Craig Armstrong.

Eldest brother of Lorraine & Morley Fischer, Morris, Doreen & Ron Elphick, Jean & Carl Weber, Bob & Chris, Bruce & Shari-Anne, Paul & Rita, Ross & Shelley, and Ruth & Ron Voisin. Brother-in-law of Ruth & Len Hershberger, Joyce Weber, Tim Widmeyer and also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Don will be fondly remembered by Wanda’s children, Craig & Marian Jefferson and children Robert, Lydia and Lincoln, Teresa & Steve Waring and children Alicia, Hayley, Marley and grand-daughter Paisley, and Heather & Allan Avigdor and their children Baruch, Ariella and Ahava.

Predeceased by his first wife Dolores (Benninger) Weber, his parents Joseph & Josephine (Schneider) Weber, brothers Pat, Earl and Alf Weber and sister Mary Widmeyer, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, from 3:00-8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham on Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the spring at Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or the Walkerton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
