Obituary of Evelyn Leachman

At Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, January 11, 2019, Evelyn Leachman of Wingham at the age of 70.

The former Evelyn Metcalfe, beloved wife of Bob Leachman. Dear mother of the late Rob Leachman (2015), Rick Leachman and Rhonda & Justin Stanley. Loving grandma of Sasha & Harry, Marena, Robby, Megan, Naomie, Kaitlyn and Nick & Alex. Great-grandma of Caleb, Liam and Jayce.  Sister of Harold Metcalfe & Nancy Good, Anna Mae Congram, Linda Stroeder & Dean Aitchison, Dave & Tilly Metcalfe, Bill Metcalfe, Joanne Gallaway and Trish Casserly. Sister-in-law of Debbie Metcalfe, Carol & Gord Hrabb, Wayne Leachman & Ivy Biloski, Louise Herd, Debbie Stewart and Sherry Leachman. Predeceased by her parents Herman & Eleanor (McKay) Metcalfe, grandson Isaac Leachman, brothers Bob and Ivan Metcalfe, parents-in-law Cy & Jean Leachman, brothers-in-law Goldie Gallaway and Glenn and Brian Leachman.

Visitation will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Wingham on Saturday, January 19th from 1:00pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm and reception to follow. Crystal Morais officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
