Obituary of Mabel Jacklin

At Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, December 06, 2018, Mrs. Mabel Jacklin of Wingham, at the age of 85.

Beloved wife of Leslie Jacklin of Wingham. Dear mother of Elizabeth & Ken Cowan of South Surrey, B.C. and Rick & Vicki Jacklin of R.R. #1, Wroxeter. Cherished grandma of Sarah & Bob Boertien, Matthew Cowan & Rachel Adair, Melissa Cowan & Aaron Biliski, Jarryd Jacklin & Meagan Chamney, Jamael Jacklin & Courtney Clark and Jordan & Jen Jacklin. Great-grandma of Zack and Hannah Boertien, Jadyn Addley, Keeton, Ryland, Presley and Julia Jacklin. Sister of Isabelle Hislop, Mae Thorpe and Edith Quipp. Sister-in-law of Leonard & Ully Jacklin, Don Jacklin, Joyce O’Connell and Glen Jacklin.

Predeceased by her parents Meldrum & Viola (Sharpin) Sanburn, son Reuben Jacklin (2002), brothers Charles and Jack Sanburn and brothers-in-law George Hislop, Harry Thorpe, Harold Quipp, and Eric O’Connell.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
