My husband Bill and I moved to Goderich in 1958 and left early in 1960. I joined the choir at St. George's and Doug sang there as well. My first choir practice he invited me back to he and Colleen's home for a coffee and a chat. I have never forgotten that kindness. Like Bill and I, Doug and Colleen moved around a great deal and we lost track of each other after a few years. I do have though some Christmas cards sent in the early years of your Dad's ministry as your family was growing like ours. Our thoughts are with you all at this time. We live in Guelph now and get the Kitchener Record which where I saw Colleen's obituary. Sincerely, Fran and Bill Taylor.

My condolences to the Madge family.
Mrs. Madge , as we called her, was in my nursing class at Freeport.
She was a kind and calming roll model to us.
She loved her family and spoke often of all of you.

Colleen and Doug were wonderful people in our community, I've thought
of them often through the years since.
I met your dad at the convenience store I worked at and he always
always knew my name from then on.
He introduced me to your mom soon after and we always had a nice chat
anytime I'd see either of them.

Very sorry to hear of Colleen's passing. She was a special lady. We were part of the parish family at St Paul's Wingham and have fond memories of both her and Doug time as our parish minister and his lady. Blessing Jim & Cheryl.
